The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) uses a network of call centers, DMV Mobile Offices and 2GB DMV Connect, to operate the agency website, scales, and call centers with a portal operated by DMVNow.
Begin your experience with the DMV at www.DMVNow.com, where you will complete more than 40 DMV transactions and learn more about how to apply for a TRUE ID. The most visible and popular DMV products include driver, vehicle, and vehicle IDs.
DMV uses its nationwide service presence to offer additional products and services in cooperation with other agencies. Virgos can obtain certified copies of Virginia life records (birth, death, marriage, and divorce certificates) and hunting and fishing licenses through any DMV customer service center. E-ZPass toll transponders are available in select locations.

Wear a mask if you are not fully vaccinated and are at least 5 years old. (Face shields must be removed while a DMV representative takes her photo to obtain a license or ID.)
Clients are limited to one consultation per person. If you have multiple transactions, book multi-service support with DMVNow, which allows up to three transactions. If the same person has more than one appointment, all subsequent appointments will be canceled.
